CESI is strengthening its presence in West Africa by signing a strategic partnership with the University of Lomé and the SIGMA school. The aim of this collaboration is to promote academic excellence and the professionalisation of engineering science teaching in Togo.
Launch of an innovative preparatory class
Through this partnership, CESI is supporting the creation of a preparatory class for engineering studies at SIGMA. The aim is to professionalise teaching by drawing on CESI’s recognised teaching methods. Thanks to this initiative, Togolese students will be able to benefit from high-level training right from the first years of their studies.
We are committed to supporting Togolese talent by offering them internationally recognised engineering training opportunities. By integrating our teaching methods, which focus on practical experience and solving real-life problems, we are helping to train the engineers of tomorrow.

A bridge to engineering training in France
After spending two years in the preparatory class in Togo at the SIGMA high school, students will be able to join CESI’s student engineering programme in France. This course offers them a twofold opportunity: to develop local skills while at the same time gaining access to the world of engineering.
The cooperation between CESI and Sigma is supported by a partnership agreement between CESI, SIGMA and the University of Lomé. Students, teachers and researchers from CESI can spend a semester at the University of Lomé, and CESI will host students and teachers from the University of Lomé as part of the exchanges.

Sustainable educational cooperation
To support this ambitious project, CESI has organised several meetings between students, parents and teachers to present the opportunities offered by this course and to explain the integration procedures. These exchanges help to strengthen the links between the various players in education and ensure a collaborative dynamic over the long term.
Through this initiative, CESI is confirming its commitment to actively contributing to the development of young African talent by offering an internationally recognised training programme of excellence.
